Russian is by far the most widely spoken of the Slavic languages. Apart from the 140 million native speakers in Russia, it is spoken by approximately another 135 million people in other, mainly ex-USSR, countries. Russian is one of the six official languages of the United Nations, and also an official language of Belarus, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.

Russian translation with mother tongue fluency
We specialise in translations into Russian that are rendered with all the fluency of a piece of original Russian text. Our translators speak Russian as their mother tongue and are experts in capturing both the meaning and the spirit of the piece – especially since they will have been chosen both for their Russian fluency and their specialist knowledge of the subject matter to be translated.
Your Russian translation project will be supervised by a Project Manager with a BA or MA in Translation or Linguistics, and will be proofread by a second native Russian speaker – and your final document will be supplied to you in whatever format you require.
Russian translation tips
Do remember that your text will occupy more or less space after translation, typically, translations from English to Russian expand by around 15%, whilst from Russian to English, you can expect text to shrink by a similar amount. So keep in mind the size and layout of your original documents, and allow for their growth or shrinkage in their newly translated versions.
